Catholic Diocese of Tombura Yambio in partnership with the World Vision Equatoria is sensitizing the community through workshop on Covid-19 pandemic.
World Vision case management specialist Samuel Itang told priests that the training is because clergy and the religious people have big influence and can reach a great number of people.
Vicar General of Catholic Diocese of Tombura Fr Thomas Bagbiowia thanked World Vision for conducting the course and that it is a collective responsibility to create awareness on the pandemic.
Fr Thomas also thanked the national government for laying down measures to prevent and stop corona virus spread.
The two-day workshop is in Yambio with day one for priests, the religious, major seminarians and key staff of the diocese.
