The Catholic diocese of Tombura-Yambio is training secretaries from 27 parishes in effective services project writings for their parishes.
Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala says the aim of the training is to strengthen the information sharing channel with the Curia.
He adds the Parish administration activities should continue to be active even if no priest is around.
Fr. Ezekiel Sungerukuari, says parish secretaries should have enough knowledge on spiritual and social activities of the parishes to help fellow parishioners with accurate information.
The two days’ workshop aims at equipping parish secretaries with knowledge on information management.
