The national ministry of agriculture started a coffee production field in Mugwo Payam of Yei River County.
Undersecretary Matthew Gordon Udo urged investors to support farmers in order to increase coffee quality and production in the area, Radio Easter reported.Professor Udo appealed to the people of Yei River County to give land and link farmers with investors through the county department of agriculture to boost coffee production and marketing.
Yei River County Executive Director Thomas Stephen Kenyi welcomed the investors.
He asked them to supply tools and fertilizers to boost coffee production and improve quality.
Mr Kenyi said investors should also help improving schools, health and water facilities.
The Director assured the investors free facilitation to relieve the difficulties while expecting from them more investments.
