The Speaker of Central Equatoria State Legislative Assembly has lamented lack of regular appearance of state ministers to discuss their policies with the MPs.

Hassan Naptale Gale told the House on Tuesday that the Assembly printed policies for discussion and then the minsters withdrew them because the documents were not well done and needed to return to the Council of Ministers, Bakhita Radio reported.

He announced that each ministry now had to submit to the House 50 copies of its policies to be discussed by the MPs.

Mr Naptale said the ministers should agree with the speaker when to present the policy to the House.

Mr Naptale was speaking on Tuesday before the approval of a four million-pound fund to allow ministers to build roads, schools, boreholes, hospitals and other infrastructure ahead of next general elections.
