Wau Town on Monday held a requiem mass at St Mary Cathedral for the eight bodies of youth who were killed on Saturday and Sunday while demonstrating Wau County Headquarters transfer to Baggari.
Presiding over the mass, Father Jourmano Bernado Juma urged families not to revenge, but to reflect on God’s message of forgiveness and reconciliation.He advised the congregations to put their faith and trust in Lord Jesus.
Fr Jourmano asked the families to continue praying and live normally after burying the decease peacefully.
After the mass the bodies were taken for burial escorted by the police force.
