More than 40 young men and women concluded a two-day training in peace building and conflict transformation in Wau.
The Justice and Peace Commission in the Catholic Diocese of Wau organized the training, Voice of Hope reported.The workshop drew participants from all the parishes of the diocese to be trained as peace ambassadors to their various communities.
Justice and Peace Commission Program Officer Stephen Robo said the workshop handled conflict resolution among the communities.
He called on all the youth to put more efforts to fight for peace of mind.
The Justice and Peace Commission is running a two-year program to strengthen and spread messages of peace among the communities in the diocese.
The program started with the formation of peace committees in different parishes.
