A team of electricity suppliers is currently surveying Mundri West to install a powerhouse in the county at a time when major power plants were turned off due to the austerity measures.
Mundri West Press Secretary Saul Festus told Anisa Radio that a team from Missionary Rural Electric Corporation visited Mundri West for two days to survey the town.Team leader Nicholas Alan said the Corporation gets funds from the International Financing Corporation to supply electricity in South Sudan.
He added that the planned powerhouse will generate electricity to 120 families and 60 institutions in Mundri West.
The Missionary Rural Electric Corporation is already supplying electricity to Maridi and Yei.
