Lakes State finance minister presented on Thursday the draft budget for 2012-2013 to the Legislative Assembly.
Joseph Maker Madit told state MPs that austerity measures have greatly affected the 2012/2013 budget, Good News Radio reported.He told the House that the budget totals over 62 million Pounds.
Mr Maker said his ministry in collaboration with the state assembly would double efforts to overcome the challenges the entire community is facing due to the austerity measures.
All state ministers and directors attended the presentation of the draft budget for 2012-2013 to the legislative assembly.
