The company was unable to access over two million US Dollars of air tickets sold in South Sudan and cannot pay fuel bills that represent 40 percent of operation expenses.
The board explained that the suspension came after Kenyan bankers stopped granting credit to Jetlink against its deposits in South Sudanese Pounds in Juba.
The statement said Jetlink was negotiating with the governments of South Sudan and Kenya a quick solution to what they said was a temporary problem.
Jetlink was one of three Kenyan companies flying daily between Juba and Nairobi.
