UN Mission in South Sudan; UNMISS has strongly supported the centenary celebrations in Tombura.
The chairperson for Tombura Parish Centenary Commission Mario Ngbari Sumbe told Anisa Radio that UNMISS Tombura branch was supplying enough water to the huge population that gathered in the church.He appreciated the Mission’s positive gesture since the arrival of the Centenary Cross in Tombura Parish in October 12, until Monday November 12.
He explained that UNMISS used to transport safe water for drinking, cooking, and washing several times a day.
Mr. Ngbari said the church has only one borehole that could not satisfy the people during the celebrations.
He revealed that UNMISS has also cleared a parking yard for vehicles in Mupoi Parish, the pilgrimage centre where the biggest centenary celebration will take place on December 12.
