Nasir County of Upper Nile State has received non-food aid from the national Relief and Rehabilitation Commission for the residents affected by floods.
Upper Nile Kalazar Eradication Association or UNKEA received the items, Internews reported.UNKEA field manager Gatwech Kuany says the association got more than 100 boxes of cooking sets, soap, Nylon twist, sleeping mates, mosquito nets, blankets and fishing hooks.
He added that the items would be distributed to flood victims within two weeks after some arrangements are put in place.
Nasir County is one of the areas critically affected by floods in Upper Nile state.
