The Central Equatoria state is facing many challenges including land grabbing, lack of money and influx of cattle into farming areas.
Deputy Governor Manasseh Lomole Waya said on Friday during the celebration of International Peace Day that Central Equatoria that the arrival of cattle into farming land is a danger to food security.Mr Lomole said the state government is also struggling on limited resources including money.
Mr Lomole said there is need to identify challenges to peace and tackle them in mature and reasonable manner and in the spirit of sustainable development.
He added that it is a moral responsibility to spot challenges and sort them out before they bring problems.
