She said Satarem wants to sign a memorandum of understanding with the municipality in order to start preliminary studies on waste management.

Miss Venter added that her company can turn any solid and liquid wastes into good use.

Michael Ladu Allah Jabu is the speaker of Juba City Legislative Council. He told reporters that the council has accepted the company to work in Juba City.

He said the company will coordinate with South Sudan Electricity Corporation to supply electricity to the communities that are not connected with the power grid.
