The governor of Warrap State appointed the former commissioner of Tonj South County deputy governor.
Acting Tonj South County Commissioner Augustine Akoch Agoth told Don Bosco FM Akec Tong Aleu is the new deputy governor of Warrap State.Mr Tong replaced Yel Mayardit.
Mr Akoch congratulated Mr Tong on his appointment over the phone on behalf of South Tonj County.
He said he thanked the former Commissioner for all the good things he did for the county, especially on security.
Mr Akoch stated that he requested the new deputy governor to help the county in the areas of security and development.
He added that Mr Tong promised to support South Tonj County.
