The Salesians of t Don Bosco are opening a new secondary school in Gumbo, outside Juba.

Cyril Odia told Bakhita Radio this morning that his parish is opening a secondary school to host girls and boys who finished primary education successfully.

He said the administration prioritized education as a policy of the Catholic Church everywhere in the world.

Fr Odia added that the interview for admission will take place on Wednesday next week.

He said the secondary school will take only first year students following government policy.

Those pupils who have finished their primary exams successfully will apply and sit for interview.

Fr Odia added that the parish plans to open a technical vocational training centre next year in Gumbo.

Comboni and Saint Vincent De Paul secondary schools are so far the only two senior secondary schools run by the Catholic Church in Juba.
