The members of Central Equatoria Legislative Assembly are to be sworn in on Wednesday, weeks after the state Governor signed the Transitional Constitution and took the oath of office.

Governor Clement Wani Konga failed to swear in the MPs one week after the signing of the state Transitional Constitution because he had to fly to Nairobi for a routine medical check up.

The Assembly Clerk, Alalla Younis Loro, wrote in a circular received by Bakhita Radio that the swearing-in ceremony was re-scheduled to Wednesday at the State Assembly.
