Human rights have to be recognised since the moment a human being is conceived.
Commissioner of Central Equatoria State prison James Lisamure said yesterday that the rights of the child have to be respected from the mother’s womb.Mr Lisamure said Juba Central Prison is housing 976 prisoners who committed all kinds of crimes and are from South Sudan and from abroad.
He said the prison services have to respect the human rights of the inmates to give a good image of South Sudan.
Mr Lisamure made these statements yesterday at a human rights awareness clinic in Juba.
