The Council of Ministers instructed the delegation that represents South Sudan in the Addis Ababa talks with Sudan to prepare the Presidential Summit for the signing of the nationality and border demarcation agreements.
The Government’s spokesperson Barnaba Marial Benjamin told the press yesterday that the Cabinet directed the delegation headed by Pagan Amum to prepare the summit between President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his counterpart Omar al Bashir in Juba.He said the presidents will discuss issues related to oil and Abyei in a full package.
Dr Marial added that the Summit signals the new atmosphere of dialogue between the two countries.
The Presidential Summit will take place during the first week of April in Juba.
