A landmine, triggered by a military vehicle, exploded killing three and injuring a number of people near Buram, in the Nuba Mountains.
One of the injured said the vehicle was on a patrol after the SPLA-North gained control over Toroje following a heavy battle with the Sudanese forces.The source could not identify the exact number of injured victims.
He said the pickup was carrying a big number of people on board.
The accident happened at about 4:30 yesterday evening.
