The Sudanese air force is reported to have dropped nine bombs today, injuring three cattle keepers in Mendi locality of Heiban County, Nuba Mountains.
A victim said the airplane raided the area at 9:00 this morning.He added that the cattle kippers were injured while lying down to avoid shrapnel from the explosions.
Similar air bombings were reported in Anngarutu with no casualties.
In another development, SPLA-North attempted to take Romania in Abujabeya locality from the Sudanese army.
Local reports say one soldier was wounded in the attack.
