Juba Girl Guides today celebrated Thinking Day with a special attention to the local orphanage.
The occasion was marked with a procession and many traditional dances, Bakhita Radio reported.The mayor of Juba, Mohammed Alhaj Babala, represented the First Lady Mary Ayen.
Central Equatoria Director of Youth and Sport, Alfred Sule Eresto, said celebrating Thinking Day in the orphanage reminded the children that the community is with them.
Mr Sule promised to work with the Girl Guides to clean and offer services to the orphans.
The leader of Girl Guides in Central Equatoria said the occasion was limited to Juba County.
She explained that poor logistic arrangements did not allow bringing people from all the six counties of the state.
