The three-day meeting is organized under the theme “Providing visionary leadership to build a free, peaceful and prosperous South Sudan.”
The members of the National Liberation Council will discuss a new leadership vision for the SPLM.
The meeting takes place in Nyakuron Cultural Centre.
The SPLM National Liberation Council is the party’s second highest organ after the National Convention.
The SPLM Constitution says the Liberation Council meets once a year to lead the party between sessions of the National Convention, and oversee the implementation of the policies and resolutions of the National Convention and the work of the Political Bureau among other functions.
