Inmates at Juba Central Prison were urged to reconcile with the people they have offended in order to be free.

The call came from African Inland Bishop Martin Mogga during a Christmas Carol organized for the prisoners, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said he told inmates that they would receive forgiveness from Christ after they asked for it.

Bishop Mogga called on the prisoners to reconcile with the people they wronged.

He also requested the offended people to forgive the inmates and release them from prison.

Bishop Mogga said Jesus Christ came to save sinners such as people in prison and relieve them from the chains of sin.

He called on the people of South Sudan to embrace love as source of peace, adding that the Government should release the inmates to begin new live with their families.

The Carols at the Central Prison were marked by colourful activities including songs, sketches, speeches and dramas.
