A five-day training for pump mechanics has kicked off in Torit, Eastern Equatoria.
The training is aimed at strengthening the skills of pump mechanics to enable them to take charge of water points in their areas and to maintain them in good working order.Angelo Lemi, a trainer at the workshop, told Emmanuel Radio that the mechanics will learn how to keep boreholes assigned to them in good conditions.
Mr. Lemi said the training involves members from three payams of Nyong, Kudos and Imurok, in Torit County.
