The Office of the President was inaugurated today after almost two years of comprehensive renovation works.
Addressing the participants during the inauguration, President Salva Kiir Mayardit said the struggle for development has just started.He added that development cannot come in a day but step by step.
President Kiir noted that although most issues in the CPA remain unresolved, South Sudan managed to get its sovereignty and now it can negotiate with the Sudan in an equal basis.
He called upon South Sudanese to work harder and harder.
The new Office of the President will start operating right away.
