CAMPAIGN AGAINST FISTULAE KICKS OFF IN JUBA TEACHING HOSIPITAL

Central Equatoria State ministry of health in collaboration with a Uganda based Women organisation known as ICC WIKI started a campaign against Fistulae and other gynaecological conditions affecting women.

Jamal Hassan, director of primary health care in Central Equatoria, said the team of the Ugandan doctors will stay in Juba for two weeks.

He said the doctors will treat Fistula together with other gynaecological ailments.

They will also see cases of infertility.

Dr. Jamal appealed to women in South Sudan to take this chance saying that such operations are very expensive but now it are done free of charge.

Hel called on women with any complications to come and register at Juba Teaching Hospital to be examined.

Dr. Jamal made these appeal today in an interview with Bakhita Radio.
