Central Equatoria State Legislative Assembly land committee is investing issues that engage local residents.
Speaking to Bakhita Radio, Juba Mayor Mohammed Alhaj Babala said the committee is scheduled to visit Juba, Muniki and Kator payams to acquaint itself with the situation there.Mr. Babala explained that the visit would accurately inform the committee about land activities in the three payams.
He added that the cause of the land grabbing needs to be studied thoroughly and find solution to it.
The mayor revealed that anybody implicated in land grabbing would face the court of law.
Mr. Babala said the decision comes after allegation that local residents were very much involved in the issues of land grabbing.
