The SPLM claims victory in South Kordofan elections and says it has the right to form the state government denying the NCP won the polls.
SPLM Election Committee Member in Kombur payam of Nuba Mountains Animir Lalu Kodi told Voice of Peace Radio that his party won the election.He added that the results that were announced in Khartoum were in favour of NCP party and were wrong.
Mr. Kodi urged SPLM supporters not to recognise the official results.
The Carter Center said in a statement on Wednesday that the elections in South Kordofan were peaceful and credible, despite a climate of Insecurity and some irregularities.
