The members of Warrap State Legislative Assembly have not passed any law since 2010.

Speaker Moses Madoot told Don Bosco FM that the state laws are yet to be passed due to the current decentralized system of governance in South Sudan.

He explained that the referendum exercise did not allow the establishment of County Legislative Councils.

Mr. Madoot described decentralization as the best system of governance because it paves the way for popular participation.

Mr. Madoot called upon the people of the stated to remain vigilant and united and stop inter-tribal conflicts.
