Eastern Equatoria candidates sitting for the Sudan School Examination in Torit centre are braving leaking roofs during rains and bearing the hot sun in bright days without help.

School structures that house the examinations rooms were constructed during the colonial era and have seen ages without repair due to lack of funds affecting the school administration, Emmanuel Radio reported.

The building with rusty iron sheets and peeling walls fails to provide comfort to the candidates when it rains or the sun shines.

The students seating for the exams are coping with the leaking roofs and mixed up examination papers with English pattern students getting tests in Arabic.
