Education authorities are alarmed with the rampant number of girls leaving school in Nuba Mountains.
Kumbur educational supervisor Kodoti Changalo told Voice of Peace FM that girl dropped out from schools due to the situation in which they are learning.The officer said the girls need special attention from the authorities and parents should give good adviser to them.
He added that school fees and early marriage encouraged by parents are some of the reasons that take girls from school.
Mr. Changalo mentioned that young teachers also contribute to destroy the future of girl pupils because they engage in love affairs with them.
