Pupils who sat for their primary leaving certificate exams last month in Warrap state will get their results next week.
Education minister Madhel Malek told Don Bosco FM by phone that this year’s the performance was very encouraging and some schools scored a 100 percent success.The minister congratulated the candidates for their accomplishments.
Dr. Malek urged candidates to be patient until the results are made public.
The minister said returnees who came from Khartoum and qualify for primary eight examinations will sit for the exam in March.
Dr. Malek added that the papers will be printed in Arabic and English so that students can use the language they know better.
He explained that the exams for returnees were delayed because they keep on arriving.
Dr. Malek said the authorities are trying to open additional schools especially in Warrap County to welcome returnee pupils.
