Separatists headed by prominent politicians took to Juba streets to celebrate the progressive referendum voter registration exercise.

Human hands made of wood were fixed in the front of cars to demonstrate the option for separation and present the symbol to the illiterate majority.

SCR News caught up with marchers to find out their views on the referendum.

Michael Okiyo said the suffering of South Sudan was ending and he did not like unity.

Abdallah Batlai said that he joined the crowd to support the participation in the struggle for the freedom of southerners.

Tomas Moga Wani said that Sudan southern did not benefit from its natural recourses since the independence.

Mr. Okiyo warned hypocrite southerners to come out to into the light in support of separation.

Southerners are left with 39 days to decide their future in the vote for separation or unity.
