A fight between two men involved in a love triangle stopped voter registration for one day in a referendum centre in Warrap State.

A week ago, the chairman of the Palek Referendum Centre, in Wanalel payam, Tonj South County, Mayik Mawien, was attacked at gun point by Rum Rong, who was alleged to be having an affair with Mr. Maik’s wife.

Warrap State Minister for Education, Madhol Malek, told Don Bosco FM that he was sent by the government to follow up the matter which had led to the disruption of the registration exercise for one day.

Dr. Madhol said the local authorities arrested the aggressor.

Dr. Madhol said that the registration at the centre resumed on Monday and it is now on full swing.
