John Garang Mausoleum Registration Centre ran out of registration books yesterday and this morning over one hundred people were patiently waiting for the materials to be delivered in order to register.
Manyang Malut Kuot, chair of the Centre, told SCR News that he informed Central Equatoria Sub-committee they used all registration materials but did not get any response.67-year old blind Robano Rashid Koma said he was not very much disappointed to have to wait to register as long as for the materials would arrive.
Ezekiel Malek Majok, who coordinates the referendum centre, explained that registration books finished in the warehouses and they had to borrow others from centres with lower turn outs.
The lack of materials coincides with an order signed by GoSS president Salva Kiir Mayrdit granting a five-day leave to government staff who wish to travel to their localities to register.
