Catholic and Episcopal Archbishops of Juba registered together this morning in order to vote in the upcoming referendum.

Archbishops Paolino Lukudu Loro and Daniel Deng Bul registered at Hai Jalaba Basic School Referendum Centre, in Juba’s Gabat residential area, Bakhita Radio reported.

Archbishop Lukudu told the press that their registration was not a matter of politics but the exercise of a duty.

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba called on citizens who have not registered yet to turn up for the exercise in order to vote in the referendum day.

Archbishop Deng said the referendum exercise was a once in a life time opportunity that must be fulfilled by any eligible citizen.

The ECS Primate urged all the registered citizens to vote in the referendum.

Archbishop Deng told those who are not willing to vote not to register.

After registration, the two Church leaders visited a primary three class room at Hai Jalaba Basic School and encouraged pupils to study harder in order to achieve a brighter future.
