Eastern Equatoria Parliament adjourned its sessions until December to allow the lawmakers go to their constituencies and mobilize citizens to register.
Speaker Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi announced to the House yesterday evening that he adjourned the parliament immediately after the presentation of a policy statement by the minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement.The ministers for Finance and Trade and for Culture and Social Development also presented their policy statements earlier in the day.
Mr. Ocholimoi said that the adjournment lasted for two weeks and the parliament resumed sessions on December 2.
