The event took place at Comboni Secondary and gathered pupils from nine schools in Kator Payam.Singers Emmanuel Kembe and Caesar Mayar performed live during the function.
Greater Equatoria, Bahr el Ghazal and Upper Nile Referendum Forum Chairperson Peter Atem told SCR News that his organization was concluding civic education programmes in Juba schools in order to move to other states.
Mr. Atem said lack of funds was a major challenge hindering the organization to move ahead with the program of enlightenment.
He urged the people to contribute with financial and material support until money for civic education is released by Khartoum.
Mr. Atem said the programme is also being implemented at schools in Nimule, Torit and Yambio.
He added that Upper Nile and Abyei together with Uganda and Kenya were the next stops in their enlightenment journey.
