LAKES STATE MOURNS ITS POLICE COMMISSIONER

Lakes State is mourning the sudden and untimely death of its Police Commissioner who died at a Juba Hotel yesterday.

Brigadier Chol Alaak Ajak collapsed and died at Juba Grand Hotel at 1 am.

Lakes State Minister of Information, Communication, Youth, Culture and Sports, Mr. Marik Nanga Marik, told Good News Radio that the Commissioner had traveled to Juba for a meeting, adding that he did not show any signs of ill health.

Mr. Marik also said that the late Police Commissioner has been performing his official duties normally, adding that the Commissioner had a clean bill of health.

The late Commissioner, who hails from Bor in Jonglei State, has been known to many in Lakes State as a diligent civil servant, taking a lot of initiatives to minimize insecurity.
