The Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission, JMEC is expected to intervene to resolve the disagreement on number of SPLM/A-In-Opposition advance team to Juba, says Information Minister.

Michael Makuei Lueth says the SPLM/A-IO advance team of over 600 members is too scaring to the government as a security risk.

In case their disagreement with the SPLM/A-In-Opposition continues further, JMEC shall be in the right position to settle the deadlock, says the minister.

The government will not allow transfer of war to Juba by the in-flight of over 600 SPLM/A-IO members advance team, Makuei points out.

The Minister admits that government and SPLM/A-In-Opposition now operate in emptiness as per the peace agreement.

By this time according to August peace deal, arrangements for the formation of the Transitional Government of National Unity should be complete.
