Western Bahr el Ghazal State has refuted publications of El Mougif newspaper and Radio Tamazuj about SPLA attacking some areas of Wau County.
Mary Carlino Madut, the State Minister of Information says the report is not true, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
SPLA forces did not attack any area in Wau County, she argues.
The minister says the county is safe from any insecurity.
She urges media houses to publish accurate information.
About 2000 internally displaced persons arrived in Wau Town from rural areas of the county earlier in the week.
