The Muslims community in Yei expressed disappointment over the continuous violation of the ceasefire agreement the government and opposition recently signed to end conflict and bring lasting peace.
The Community’s Chairperson, Musa Hakim, urges the warring parties to think of children’s suffering and stop retarding the nation, Radio Easter reported.
He calls on South Sudanese to pray hard for lasting peace, whishing Muslims in Yei, Central Equatoria and the country at large a happy celebration of Eid al Adha.
Another Muslim, Taban Mojesili, commends the peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims without discrimination, disunity and nepotism.
The Muslims spoke to Radio Easter at Yei Mosque compound on Eid Al Adha celebrations on Thursday.
