Saint Josephine Bakhita Wonduruba Parish Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba said the recent clashes affected their programs since citizens fled for their lives.
Fr Visuvasa Alexander after visiting Yei Catholic Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe on Thursday laments that only few people turned up for prayers on Sunday and that education, computer and other programs stopped, Radio Easter reported.
Ee commends the cooperation of security authorities and citizens in supporting him to bring people bitten by snakes and pregnant women wanting deliver from the bush to the Lainya Hospital.
Fr Alexander calls on people of Wonduruba within the Payam and those displaced to Lainya to remain courageous in faith amidst suffering.
The Payam SPLM secretary reported that the situation is back to normal, though many other people are still in bushes.
