Unidentified attackers along Kajo-Keji-Juba road have shot four passengers dead and wounded eight others on Saturday.
The victims were confirmed lying at Juba Teaching Hospital at press time.
Kajo-Keji County Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni says the incident happened between the locations of Ayat Company military detach and Kuruki army unit.
He calls the army units along Kajo-Keji-Juba road responsible for the attack.
The commissioner wonders why Kajo-Keji-Juba road users are always attacked yet they travel in search of services like others in the country.
Commissioner Kala says attacks of travelers within Juba County are surprising because the road security seems to be tight.
Details of the Kajo-Keji-Juba road attack victims are yet to be investigated.
