Western Bahr El Ghazal Statistics Bureau is launching seven-day high frequency survey in Raja, Jur River and Wau Counties aiming at collecting economical data and political status to know the poverty level.

State Statistics Bureau Director Pons Ukolla Pons told Voice of Hope that the survey handles family livelihood, market prices and fluctuating Dollar exchange rate.

He said the survey will last for three years with 12 rounds in family, 165 in market prices and 780 rounds in monitoring hard currency rates.

Director Ukolla added that the survey would be conducted using electronic devices to ease the process of data collection and minimize irregularities that occurred in the previous frequency surveys.

He appealed to chiefs to cooperate with the enumerators during the survey period.
