South Sudan General Students’ Union President on Thursday disclosed that they in collaboration with United Nations, Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization or UNESCO is organizing ‘Press Article Writing Competition’ from February 2 to 16 on how media contribute to peace building and development in South Sudan.
Emmanuel Lubari Joseph told journalists that the competition is restricted to professionals and college or university students below 40 years and that both English and Arabic writers would be assessed to qualify among the best three journalists to receive awards on February 20.
Panelists in the press writing competition are expected from UNESCO, UJOSS, AMDISS and government officials.
