Tonj South Payam Administrator in Warrap State on Wednesday urged parents and guardians to take care of their children from river water.
Mario Law Babur advised parents and guardians to protect their children from eating green mango fruit to avoid diarrhoea, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He also advised people not to allow their children defecate around homes to evade flies.
The Administrator urged Tonj communities to use clean water for drinking and cooking to prevent diarrhea and cholera diseases.
