Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference or SCBC Secretary-General said Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako wants to see tranquility achieved in South Sudan to groom innocent peace loving generation that never experiences war and not traumatized.
Fr Jacob Odwa told CRN upon return from Khartoum, Sudan that Cardinal Zubeir’s heart is in the country as a South Sudanese; longing for a better solution to peace.
The Secretary-General said there are many South Sudanese congesting education facilities in Khartoum following conflict outbreak in the country amidst their repatriation plans.
Fr Odwa revealed that Khartoum Archdiocese is pressurized to consider establishment of schools for South Sudanese there due to war at home.
The Secretary-General is expected to visit the United States of America for the first time in mid February for forty days’ retreat to learn new ideas from overseas.
He advised the nation to work for peace to engage in development as the common interest opposed to political differences.
