South Sudan Police force registered two suicide cases in Eastern Equatoria State in a period of a week.
Eastern Equatoria Police Commissioner Major Genera Edward Dimitry Lukak told Radio Emmanuel on Thursday that one officer in Torit town killed his wife before turning the gun to fire himself while the other shot himself in Chukudum town.
The Police Commissioner suspected that the deceased in Torit acted under the influence of alcohol.
Friends and relatives detected the committed suicide cases at Hai Police Residential Area in Torit and in Chukudum Town of Budi County.
