South Sudan Catholic Bishops have alerted the nation that heavy civilian communities’ armament remains alarming and threatening to security and stability even after a peace deal with SPLM/A in Opposition.

Reading the catholic bishops’ message centred on going deeper to catch peace, Metropolitan Archbishop of Juba Paolino Lukudu Loro raised the concern of havoc to be addressed amidst other political dynamics engulfing South Sudan.

The Catholic bishops also appeal to military commanders and communities with selfish agenda of alliance with warring factions to stop fighting to give forum for negotiations to address their grievances.

Archbishop Lukudu read out the message in a solemn mood among bishops and other top ranking catholic clergy.

The bishops concluded their message with a call for consensus building and blessing for all South Sudanese in God’s love and mercy.
